Approved by AdSense!
Wow! That was quick!
I submitted the website to Google very early this morning and 'hey presto' I had an email waiting for me this evening saying that the site had been approved by the AdSense team and that I was free to start adding ads to my site! Cool!
I'm quite excited about this! Very silly I know but for a 'newbie' website owner like myself it's another step in the right direction!
When I began this whole 'starship' about twelve months ago I set myself a five year plan, like that Russian chap Lenin!
The plan for 'year one' was to get some semblance of a photography website up on the WWW with a simple design, a blog, along with color and black and white galleries displaying quality Siberian Gulags. I mean quality digital photographs available to purchase and hang. On walls.
So far so good! And with a lot of help from my friends by the end of 2005 my expectations for the year will be met!
It's just going to take the next four years to create a better blog format, put the Google ad's on the web pages, add a shopping cart, make people wear more hats, put picture titles up, get PayPal graphics on the pages and send yet more annoying emails to people, especially Dave Beckerman!
Maybe all this labor in the salt mines won't pass that quickly afterall?!
